Jingle in July
July 24 - 26, 2019

What if you could spend two and a half fun-filled days stitching on the projects of your choice with a small group of people who love needlepoint just as much as you do - and get all the help you need from an expert teacher?

You could relax and meet new stitch-y friends... make lots of progress on some of those UFOs that have been languishing in the closet... and definitely learn some new tricks, tips, and techniques - all while being pampered with some good old fashioned Southern hospitality in a beautiful antebellum mansion in historic Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Registration for "Jingle in July" opens soon...

Complete the form below if you'd like to be among the first to know when registration for Ellen's retreat opens.

We'll kick things off with a "Welcome" reception on Tuesday evening (July 23) at 6:30.

Then, we'll spend two and a half fun-filled days stitching together in The University Club.

Bring whatever projects you want... I'll be there to answer questions, show you how to do different techniques, and help you choose stitches for your canvases.

We'll also spend a wee bit of time on the exclusive "Jingle in July" canvas that Diane at Pepperberry Designs is creating just for this event. It's a snowman and the entire kit is included. (Squeeeee!)

And on Friday, we'll have a guest speaker for our farewell luncheon.

You may be wondering why, exactly, you should trust me to be your Needlepoint Guide. Well, here's a little bit of background info about me...

I've mentored hundreds of stitchers just like you and helped them develop their skills so they could confidently create one-of-a-kind needlepoint treasures.

I love sharing time-tested needlepoint success strategies and systems that I've developed during my 25 + years of teaching in my own shop and around the USA to provide stitchers (like you!) with a true advantage in pursuing their needlepoint hobby.

My mission is to help more stitchers overcome their challenges and frustrations so they can stitch with confidence.

I've written articles and designed projects for a variety of needlework magazines and I'm the author of The Embroidered Home.

And I'm the founder of The Stitcher's Club – a premium membership program that empowers needle artists by providing them with resources, relationships and valuable training materials.

Imagine
  • spending two and a half days leisurely working on your projects in an exquisite historic home while experiencing oodles of good old fashioned Southern hospitality
  • meeting new stitch-y friends who share your love of needlepoint
  • having access to your very own private needlepoint teacher so you can get help with whatever has you stuck.

Yep - you can join the fun. All you need to do is complete that form over there to your right and you'll be the first to know...
